Thank you very much for your reply of 23^rd August, the contents of which we have noted.

 

We do not doubt that all the necessary technical requirements were observed during the development of the land and approvals from the relevant authorities were obtained before such development, we however beg to draw your attention to one major difference:

 

The recent widening of the LDP in front of the USJ 23 Residence, to accommodate for the Trumpet Flyover, has in fact halved the distance between the Gas Valve Station and the main highway as compared to before.

 

You have stated with some amount of certainty that all the necessary precautions and technical requirements has been approved and fully complied with, we would be obliged to have your confirmation that such approvals are still current even after the modification from the original approvals, and what precautions have been taken since the modifications?

 

I have noted your unwillingness to prophesize, and rightfully so, after all, we are the ones living in USJ 23, not you.

 

As we have indicated before, the danger to the residents in USJ 23 is very real. Without being furnished with the necessary assurances and documentary proof, that all the necessary precautions have since been taken to prevent a catastrophic accident, how do you expect that we do not continue to live with the fear?

 

So, should we organise a joint discussion to bring these things into the open? We leave it to you technically learned gentlemen to decide.
