19/07/2001 - We received a call
in the morning from the new MPSJ street light contractor, confirming that the
lights will be repaired soon.
The street lights are finally repaired
the very evening, however, they are still unable to find out what the
actual fault is. A temporary connection was made until such time when they find
out what is actually wrong. Well, it beats having no lights.
Hopefully, with the new
contractor, faulty street lights will be attended to, normally.
14/05/2001 - We have contacted MPSJ again and they have informed us that their technician made a check and can
confirm that there is actually a fault in the underground electrical wiring.
They have asked for additional time to find out where the actual fault
originates. Looks like we have to continue to wait.

Cik Nor (Complains Officer) - looks like she's the only one to take the
complains. - this lady has since resigned.

30/04/2001 - Our report No is
396/04/2001 made on 30/04/2001, but reports were made 2 months before this.
It normally takes about 3
working days for them to replace a blown bulb. In this instance it is taking
longer because it is a cable fault.
But as we know this has taken more than 3+ months?
