Dear Casey

Actually the polls are meant as a quick gauge of how the Residents felt about any particular subject.

There are a lot of quiet residents who may prefer not to voice their opinions but are willing to cast their vote through the polls. It is also a easy way for neighbours to find out how everyone else felt about any given subject.
To put in too many restrictions and too much explanation would defeat the whole process, and that is why I used an off the shelf monitoring system from Lycos (html GEAR).

What ticks me off is that there are just a few jokers who are doing it at the expense of all other residents. USJ23 Residents are generally a bunch of great people, let's work at keeping it that way.

Thanks for your kind compliment and we would all like you to know that we appreciate very much your continued support.

Best Regards
Robert

It is indeed disheartening to see to what great lengths people go to prove a point. Sadly shows a childish mentality and disregard for common courtesy.

Anyway, cheer up, I suggest we declare the poll, null and void. Reason being; voter fraud or spam voting.

As for my household, our opinion stands that if 5A has to be opened, 3C is closed and 5A is made into a one-way street and a street bump put in. Reason being; there are residents in 5A, who for some reason, like to zoom in and out, so for the safety of all, esp. the little ones living here, if 5A is opened the above safety measures should be considered.

Best wishes,
Celia Alphonsus,

Hi Robert,

Why don't you implement a 'one-household-one-vote' policy on such polls (I know it's kind of trivial but it makes more sense at times, doesn't it?)... i.e. one vote ONLY for each registered address/email ID etc. .. just a thought.

By the way, I think you guys did a great job on the site and you'll have my full support always.

Cheers,
Casey.
