Advantages of subscribing to Yahoo Groups


	In order to fully utilise the facilities at Yahoo Groups (e-group) You must be a registered user of Yahoo, (registration at Yahoo is free). If you are not a registered user you can still be a member of any e-group, but you can only receive/send/subscribe/unsubscribe from your normal email program. If you are a registered user you will be able to do the following at the group website (it is assumed that you are already signed in)

	Sending Email (messages) You can send messages from the e-Group Website (i.e. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/usj23/ , http://groups.yahoo.com/group/usj26/ , http://groups.yahoo.com/group/usj27/ ) Go to the appropriate webpage and on the left panel look for "Post", click on it and carry on, it's that simple.

	How you want to receive the emails (messages) from the Group You may be receiving too many emails a day, this can take up a lot of your time, but on the other hand you also want to be kept informed. In the e-Group you can change how you receive/read messages directed at the group. You can choose from Individual emails - Each email posted by a member is sent Daily digest - Emails for the whole day are grouped and sent at the end of each day - many email in one. (once a day I think) Only special notices - Only Special Notices from the group moderators will be sent to you. The rest you can read from the website. No email - No email will be sent to you from the group, you will read all the messages at the web site, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/usj23/. These changes can be made by using the [Edit My Membership] when you are at the e-Group Website. You can change the option as many times as you like.

	Calendar Take a look at the calendar and you will notice that I have listed some important (well, I seem to think so) events. I have also programmed for the Group to send reminders to all members. If you have something that could benefit our Community try including it into the calendar.
