For the coming long Hari Raya and  Christmas break, if you are traveling or away, we advise you to inform your neighbours (left, right, front and back) that if they see any suspicious characters  in our neighbourhood they should immediately call the Police.

1.New USJ 23 Residents
We welcome Lee Hoong Jon (10,USJ 23/3B) to our neighbourhood. Thank you for coming forward to join us in our Night Watch Duty, as well as agreeing to contribute to our security services. We also welcome Cik HJH Mazlinda Mohd. (9,USJ23/3B), thank you for agreeing to contribute to our security services.

2.Paper Lama, Old newspaper Recycle Program
The next old newspaper collection day is Sunday, 09/12/2001 .Time:5.00pm. to 6.30pm. Collection point: Next to USJ 23 guard house.

3.USJ 23 Residents & NW Pro Tem Committee 2001 Monthly Meeting

Venue: Beh Yong Hock's house( 28,USJ23/3B)
Time : 8.30 pm
Attendance: Compulsory for all committee members. Residents are encouraged to attend. GET INVOLVED.

1.ELEGANCE Auto Accessories - Thanks to K. T. Lim - he has kindly agreed to offer a discount of 10 to 30% for any product purchase. This is only for USJ 23 residents.
2.Dayangcond System Sdn. Bhd. (Kelvin Cheng) provides Repair, Sales and Service for air-conditioning.
3.Helen`s Home-Baked Pastry - You MUST try it, it's Good Taste, Good Value and Good Food. A offering of 10% is specially given to USJ 23 residents only.

5.USJ 23 Residents Concerns & Projects in Progress:
 * Sound barrier walk along USJ 23/3 in progress, thanks to Khor Seik Choon's  excellent efforts to pursue this concern.

* Narrow slip road leading to USJ 23. You can now see that the relevant parties concern have taken action to rectify it. Thanks to Robert Chan for highlighting it, and Mr. Dharmender Singh, for featuring it in The Star Metro.

* The Land Office have informed our committee through a fax, that the Quarry's operating hours have being reduced. However on the night of 29/11/2001 at about 7.00pm.to 7.30 pm, 2 big blasts were heard by residents of USJ 23 and USJ 26. A Police Report was immediately lodged on this 'illegal' operation. The committee is continuing pursuing this matter.

6.USJ 23 Neighbourhood Night Watch
We strongly urged all night watch members to come out and do your duty. There have being some absentees. Be more committed. You are doing your part, to ensure the safety of our families.

7.USJ 23 Security Services:
Contribution for December 2001 is RM 50.00 per household. The extra RM 10.00 is for having 24 hours security from 13/12/2001 to 28/12/2001, in view of the Hari Raya and Christmas long holiday, where most residents will be taking a long break in their holiday.
