Police Emergency Call: 03-55102220
To: All residents of USJ 23
1. Zoning of USJ 23
So far no further news from Datuk Lee Hwa Beng, and we will
update if there is any new development. However they have started in Subang
Jaya, perhaps as a pilot project.
2.
USJ Residents Association
AP Lyon, our committee member attended the BGM and from his
report this association seem not to serve the interest of USJ 23 residents.
Therefore, the USJ 23 NW /Pro Tem committee have decided not to be involved with
their activities, until we get a clearer picture on the objectives of this
association.
3. USJ Crime Reporting
On 26/04/2001 at 6.45 am, along USJ /5A, Alvin Chan’s
father sighted a suspicious character on a bicycle making rounds in USJ 23. His
father called out to this character, however he took flight and quickly sped
off. Therefore all residents leaving house early in the morning, please take
caution.
On 27/04/2001 at about 11.45 pm the alarm at Yusri’s house,
located along USJ 23/5 was triggered. Samsad called Yusri who was at that time
in Penang. Samsad, Andy Chin and a few other neighbours went over to
investigate, and found nothing abnormal. While this was happening, Samsad’s
wife saw a small lorry driving from USJ 23/5A entrance towards USJ 23/5, stopped
at the corner of USJ23/5 and then reversed and went out to the main road.
Subsequent the alarm went on for the whole night. The next morning Yusri came
back from Penang and discovered that one roof tile was removed and some foot
prints at the back balcony of his house. Fortunately the quick response of our
neighbours have prevented the break-in
(We
strongly suggest that if you and your family are traveling, you should pass your
house keys to your neighbour to assist, in case of attempted break-ins or
emergency.)

increasing break-ins (2) and attempted break-ins (3) in USJ 23 in April 2001, as

and understanding for the safety of all USJ 23 residents.
There has being numerous
requests from residents wanting to have 24 hours security services. This matter

Please talk to your
neighbours, and get more residents to join, the committee cannot be going to
every house to approach them. Each of us has to play our small part, to ensure
even better participation. Our current rate of residents’ participation is 88.79%
