To: Dear USJ 23 Residents

1. Hanif Izham(New Row Leader -USJ 23/3A)
We are glad that Hanif has kindly agreed to take up the responsibility as the new Row Leader for USJ 23/3A, and at the same time he is now a committee member in the USJ 23 Residents & NW Pro Tem Committee 2001.Will all residents residing along USJ 23/3A, pay your monthly security services contribution to Hanif, effective January 2002.

2. New USJ 23 Resident
We welcome Encik Kamar Husin and family members (4,USJ 23/5C) to our community, and also would like to thank him for coming forward to take part in our NW duty, as well as agreeing to contribute to USJ 23 security services.

3. Hari Raya Open House
The above activity  was very successfully held on 05/01/2002 in USJ 23, near our guardhouse. Thanks to the organising committee ,headed by our ever popular Roslan Ali, Samsad A. Khan and Mohd. Yusri Ismail for a excellent job well done.

4. Dialogue with Yap Yun Fatt (MPSJ Councilor) on 04/01/2002
The dialogue was attended mainly by our committee members. We feel for future dialogue of this nature, more residents should come forward and show their full support by their attendance, as whatever we do will definitely affect all of us living in USJ 23. You will be advised on more information when we confirmed them.

5. USJ 23 E-Mailing List
As at end Jan.2002,we have 72 residents on the e-mailing list. We welcome Wong Kuan Yu as our latest E-mailing list member.

6. Paper Lama ,Old newspaper Recycle Program
The old newspaper collection day was held on 09/12/2001 .A total of 40 USJ 23 residents participated in this activity. Thanks to all these residents for your kind gesture. The next collection day is on 03/02/2002 from 5.00pm.to 7.00pm.,located near the guardhouse.

7. USJ23 Residents & NW Pro Tem Committee 2001 Monthly Meeting
Next Meeting: 01/03/2002 (Friday)

Time : 8.30 pm
Attendance: Compulsory for all committee members and all residents are welcome to attend. GET INVOLVED.

10. USJ 23 Neighbourhood Night Watch
By this time most of you would have read that in USJ 18, they have a lady participating in their NW. This happens when something happens to somebody. Therefore let's be proactive by participating in USJ 23 NW activities, before something bad happens to any of us.

11. USJ 23 Security Services:
 Contribution for February 2002 is RM 50.00 per household. 
In view of the coming Chinese New Year falling in February, USJ 23 Residents committee have decided to have 24 hours security services from 08/02/2002 to 17/02/2002,due to residents either going back to "kampong" or going away for a holiday.
Please take the necessary preventive measures, if you are away during the festive period:
* Keep you next door neighbours informed, and where to contact you in case of emergency.
* Ensure all entry points to your house is locked.
* Possibly also switch on your front and back lane lights during the night, get your  neighbour to help.
* Call the Police, if you see any strangers or suspicious characters, in our vicinity
